Strategy #2

For my second set, I'm going to the Downtown/Riverwalk area of Milwaukee north of the Interstate. With these images I'm going to try and capture motion that imitates eye movements. Milwaukee has an underappreciated downtown, full of rich architecture, including some of the finest French Second Empire architecture in this hemisphere. If people were only to stop and look from time to time, they might see the architectural beauty the city has to offer.

Hi Michael--
Architecture and eye movement sounds like a good combination. Some thoughts about eye movement: Often humans close their eyes or blink during "pans" apparently to reduce stimuluation. Its almost impossible to steadily pan with one eyes-- instead the eyes take tiny jumps between adjacent spots. Foveal vision is poor when the object (or retinal image) is moving.

Designers design to attract attention to the design. What "design" would be the opposite of that? Have fun! Rob D.
