ed. note: You may experience some frame flickers or unintentional jumpiness; I believe that occured somewhere in the compression, and I'm trying to root out the source.

Lake Park Marker
This is the Lake Park dedication marker at Lake Park in Milwaukee, describing the circumstances of its planning and opening in 1892. Lake Park's designer--F.L. Olmstead--also designed another city's most prominent park: Central Park in New York City. In the background is Bartolotta's Lake Park Bistro, which overlooks Lake Michigan.

Strategy #2
For my second set, I'm going to the Downtown/Riverwalk area of Milwaukee north of the Interstate. With these images I'm going to try and capture motion that imitates eye movements. Milwaukee has an underappreciated downtown, full of rich architecture, including some of the finest French Second Empire architecture in this hemisphere. If people were only to stop and look from time to time, they might see the architectural beauty the city has to offer.
Strategy #1
For my first set I'm going to shoot pictures in the Lake Park area of Milwaukee, mainly among the urban nature trail near Newberry Blvd. My pictures will all be extreme close-ups, covering a distance no greater than 8 inches. This is one of my favorite spots in Milwaukee, but I've never really taken a close, careful look at it, so I'd like to explore it a little more.
